Gawad Kalinga: Walang Iwanan Bayani Challenge







2013 indeed is a year with unforgettable experiences and memories to many of the Filipinos. Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) last November 2013, Zamboanga conflict, earthquake in Bohol – all these have affected thousands and millions of families, relationships, businesses, heritage sites and so on. However, these are the events that would remind us that we have to stand up again. Thus, the WALANG IWANAN (relationships that refuse to leave each other behind) was brought into place.


We invite you to join us to join the Bayani Challenge 2014; wherein, we gather 1 million volunteers to rebuild Pilipinas (Philippines) through participating in a 5-day volunteer immersion in selected sites. Schedule as follows: 
  
Week 1: Apr 12 - 16
Week 2: Apr 23 - 27
Week 3: Apr 30 - May 4
Week 4: May 7 - 11
Week 5: May 14 - 18
Week 6: May 21 - 25
Week 7: May 28 - Jun 1
Week 8: Jun 4 - 8
Week 9: Jun 8 - 12
